Biography
Marie Kibler competed for the USA team in the team event, the only women’s gymnastics event at the 1936 Berlin Olympics, with the team finishing fifth. Kibler represented the Philadelphia Turngemeinde. She later married Chet Phillips, another US Olympic gymnast, and became a housewife, raising their family.
