Biography

Dimitar Dimitrov was a Bulgarian gymnast who first represented the national team in 1968. Four years later Dimitrov competed at the 1972 München Olympics where he finished 15th in the all-round team competition. His best individual performance came in the rings where he tied for 65th place with three other gymnasts. Dimitrov later graduated from the University of Varna and then worked in the Bulgarian Navy.
