Biography

East German gymnast Günter Nachtigall finished seventh with the team in the all-around event and 59th in the individual all-around at the 1960 Roma Olympic Games. He did not advance to any of the individual finals. In 1956 and 1957 Nachtigall earned seven East German national titles.
