Biography

Gymnast Julius Nuninger finished 107th at the 1900 Paris Olympics in the individual all-around. He was born from French parents, in Mulhouse, Alsace, which was under German occupation between 1870 and 1918. No more results from Nuninger could be identified.

This Alsatian Olympian has officially become a French citizen after WWI. He was then known as Jules Charles Nunninger (with an extra “n”) all the rest of his life, until his death in Mulhouse in 1940.
