Biography

In 1912, Edward Wennerholm was a member of the Swedish team that won gold in the Swedish system team event at the Stockholm Olympics. He was a career officer, who joined the Svea Lifeguard Regiment in 1913 as second lieutenant. In 1927, he was promoted to captain, the highest rank he achieved.

Wennerholm married Senta Martha Lucie Tauschke in 1920; they had one son. One year after his divorce in 1924, he married Lizzie Linda Maria Nilsson. They had two sons but later divorced in 1931. Wennerholm died of cholecystitis at the age of 53.
