Biography

Defender Fritz Wurmböck was a member of the Austrian field handball team that won the silver medal at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. He played three matches during the tournament. Domestically, he played with Wien (Vienna) AC. Wurmböck was the Austrian flagbearer at the 1936 opening ceremony.
