Biography

Claudia Sturm was on the West German handball squad that finished fourth in the round-robin tournament at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. She won 103 international caps and scored 167 goals.

Domestically, she played with TSV Rot-Weiß Auerbach and VfL Neckargartach. Sturm later became a coach at the Handball High Performance Center Bergheim and worked as a school teacher.
