Biography
As a handball goalkeeper of VAC Tibor Máté became the national champion in 1934. Between 1934 and 1938 he appeared in the Hungarian national team 7 times. He participated in the 1936 Berlin Olympics, where he finished fourth, and in the 1938 World Championships where he placed third.
