Jennifer Demby-Horton

Jennifer Demby-Horton played basketball at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, where she led the team to the 1990 ECAC Championship, and led the nation in free throw percentage. She then joined the US National Handball Team where she was a goalkeeper. Demby-Horton won a gold medal at the 1995 Pan American Games, and competed that year at the World Championships, in addition to her 1996 Olympic appearance.

Demby-Horton later became director of sports at Blind Athletes, Inc, a sports group for athletes with blindness and visual impairments. She has also served as the co-founder and head coach of their para-track & field team. She has also done motivational speaking and does appearances at celebrity golf events.
