Biography

Henry Oehler competed for the US in handball (team) at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Oehler represented the German Sport Club in Brooklyn. He played in all three USA matches at the 1936 Olympic tournament. Oehler played alongside his brother [Otto]/athletes/33003). In civilian life Henry worked as a shipping and receiving clerk. In World War II Oehler served as a warrant officer.
