Orly Fuentes competed in judo at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. He was best known for his tai otoshi and uchi mata throws. Fuentes competed at two World Championships, and won a Pan American Championship, in addition to medals at the World Cup. He later became an instructor at Pinecrest Judo Club in Florida.
