Austrian 4th dan judoka Anton Summer participated in the half-middleweight division at the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics. He was eliminated in the repêchage rounds for the medals and placed 18th. In 1991, he won his only Austrian national title. Summer later coached at the high-performance centre Südstadt Maria Enzersdorf.
