Biography

Boxer Hubert Ausböck was German amateur champion in 1928-30 and 1932, and German Professional Champion in 1934, all as a flyweight. He fought as a professional from 1933-47, and won 17 fights, lost 3, with 3 draws. At the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics he lost his quarter-final against upcoming Hungarian Olympic Champion Tony Kocsis. In 1930 he was also eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Europeans.
