Biography

West German boxer Peter Prause from Berlin lost his first bout in the featherweight class at the 1972 München Olympics against his East German opponent Jochen Bachfeld by a 5-0 decision. In 1969 and 1972 Prause won the West German amateur titles, earning his ticket for München. By profession, Prause was a policeman.
