Biography

Hans-Joachim Lück was a member of the East German gold medal winning coxed eights at the 1976 Montréal Summer Games. The following year, he won the eights at both the World Championships and East German nationals. With the non-Olympian Herbert Brauer, he was Youth World Champion in the coxless pairs in 1970 and 1972. Lück later became a rowing coach.
