Biography

Reinhard Wendemuth was a member of the West German eights at the 1972 München Olympics that finished a disappointing fifth. In 1976 he finished fourth, again with the eights, but with a different crew, asonly Bernd Truschinski and Frithjof Henckel remained from 1972. Wendemuth won eight West German national titles, and with the coxless fours, won a bronze medal at the 1974 World Championships.
