Biography

Zoltán Török won a total of 19 national championship title in coxed fours (1922-29) and coxed eights (1921-26, 1928, 1931, 1933) with Pannonia. Between 1924 and 1932 he was a member of the Hungarian national rowing team. At the European Championships he achieved the following results: gold in the coxless fours in 1932, silver in the coxed fours in 1925, bronze in coxed eights in 1922 and 1931, and bronze in coxed fours in 1923. After retiring, Török worked as head coach of the Hungarian rowing team for a while, then was coach of FTC until his retirement. In addition to his sports career, he had a law degree and worked as a judge.
