Biography

Gustaf Broberg was a member of the Göteborgs RK’s eight team at the 1912 Olympics in Stockholm. They lost in the heat against Sydney Rowing Club representing Australasia.

Broberg was a civil engineer and worked, amongst others, for the building committee of the Hospital Board. He had a relationship with Elin Mathilda Beatrice Andreasson which resulted in 1915 in the birth of a son. The relationship was not long lasting, however. Many years later, in 1948 at the age of 62, he eventually got married. His wife was Kajsa Maria Vilhelmina (née Lundgren).
