Biography

Arvid Svendel was a member of the Göteborgs RK’s eight team at the 1912 Olympics in Stockholm. They lost in the heat against Sydney Rowing Club representing Australasia.

After moving to Göteborg with his parents, Svendel worked there as clerk. Later, he lived in Stockholm as a merchant and remained unmarried.
