Biography

Cyrus Beasley rowed single sculls at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Beasley graduated from Emory University. He also competed at the World Championships consecutively from 1994-98, in the quad in 1994 and 1997, the pair in 1998, and the singles in 1995. Beasley won a silver medal in the single sculls at the 1995 Pan American Games. He was on the US rowing team from 1994-2000.

After his rowing career ended, Beasley worked for Resolute Racing Shells as a builder and designer. In 2003 he joined Sweenor Builders as a lead carpenter. In 2008 he left to start his own company, Beasley Woodworks, in southern Rhode Island.
