Biography

Rob Shepherd rowed in college at the University of Washington. He was on the US National team from 1989-92, competed at the 1989 and 1990 World Championships, the 1990 Goodwill Games, and the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Shepherd won a silver medal in the eight at the 1990 Goodwill Games. He was 1990 US Champion in the eight and the coxed four.

Shepherd worked after college for John Hancock, and then was with Hoffman Video Systems. He later settled near Los Angeles where he made his career in insurance with Aon Risk Solutions. As a youth, Shepherd was an Eagle Scout.
