A multiple Egyptian titleholder, sport shooter Abdallah Zohdy specialized in pistol events. Among his international appearances, he represented his country, competing internationally as the United Arab Republic, at the 1963 Games of the New Emerging Forces in Jakarta. He was then selected to represent the UAR at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, where he placed 42nd out of 53 competitors in the rapid-fire pistol, 25 metres event. He was still competing and in the prime of his career when, four years later, he died suddenly at the age of only 39 in Cairo. By occupation, he worked as a police officer.
