Biography

A non-commissioned officer in the RAF, Charles Willott rose to the rank of squadron leader, and during his time in service won many RAF pistol and rifle titles for more than 20 years from 1931. His finest moment was in 1946 when he won the King’s Prize at Bisley after a tie. He was still competing at Bisley in is 65th year. Willott was awarded the OBE in 1953.
