Biography

Michel Braun was a sports shooter from Luxembourg who competed in the rapid-fire pistol event. Braun participated at the 1972 München Olympics where he finished 38th out of the 62 competitors. Four years later he returned to the Olympics for the 1976 Montréal Games, this time finishing last of the 48 participants. Braun had a disastrous first round when he scored only 149 out of a possible 300 points, but redeemed himself in the second round with a score of 296.
