Biography

Adolph Cederström was a bank teller who lived in Uppsala. During his time with the military he was lieutenant with Uppland’s Artillery Regiment. At the age of 55 he married Karin Sandelin. At the 1912 Olympic Games he competed in the running target, single shot event. With a good eighth place Cederström was still only the sixth best Swede and was not deployed in the respective team event. In 1920 he became a regional champion in shooting. Cederström was also an avid bandy player, winning the first ever Swedish Championship in this sport in 1907 with the team of IFK Uppsala.
