Biography

Terry Carlisle competed in skeet shooting at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Carlisle attended Old Dominion University. She had a long international career, competing first with her maiden name of Bankey, then as Terry Carlisle, after marriage to Dan Carlisle, and later again as Bankey, after their divorce. Her biggest international moment was winning the 1985 World Championships. From 1978-94, she won six team silver medals at the Worlds, adding an individual silver in 1978 and an individual bronze in 1983. Carlisle also won a team gold medal at the World in 1993 in team double trap shooting.
