Biography

Neal Caloia competed in both air pistol and free pistol at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. He learned sport shooting from his father, John, who was a member of the Oregon State Shooting Association. Caloia went to college at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. His best international tournament was the 1988 Championship of the Americas junior event, where he won three gold medals and one silver medal. Caloia owned and operated Gun Pro Shooting Supplies store in Lane County, Oregon.
