Biography

Ralph Marshall shot free pistol at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. He represented the Lima Rifle & Revolver Club. Marshall was from Lima, Ohio, where he served as a sheriff and operated a sporting goods store. At the time of World War I he was working as a motorcycle dealer. Marshall served in France in World War I, and was honorably discharged from the service in May 1919. The Olympic Rings are engraved on his gravestone.
