Biography

Tom Treinen was an E-6 (first class petty officer) in the US Navy at the time of the 1976 Olympics. He had been All-Navy Rifle Champion in 1969 before switching to rapid fire pistol shooting. After retiring from the Navy, Treinen worked as a welder in the 1980s.
