Biography

Jérome Hicketick was a multi-sport athlete around the turn of the 20th century, in multiple aquatic sports (swimming, diving, water polo) as a member of the Antwerpsche Zwemvereeniging (AZV). The winner of a national title in diving, Hicketick was selected to compete in the 1908 Olympic Games at London, where he did not advance past the first round in the men’s platform diving event. He was also an active weightlifter.
