Biography

Jutta Wanke was a freestyler who was eliminated in the heats of the individual 400 freestyle at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. In 1965 and 1967 she finished third at the East German championship in the 200 free, but won the 400 freestyle in 1966, finishing second in 1967. In 1963 and 1965 Wanke was a member of the 4x100 freestyle relay team for SC Empor Rostock, which came in second at the East German nationals.
