Biography

Reinhard vom Bauer was a West German springboard diver who was eliminated in the qualification round at the 1972 München Olympics. Domestically, he represented SC Lichterfelde Berlin, but never won a West German national title.

Vom Bauer later became an actor in several German TV productions, often under the pseudonym “Thore Seeberg”. He completed his acting training between 1965 and 1968 at the Fritz Kirchhoff School in Berlin-Dahlem. In the 1970s and 1980s he played several roles in very successful German television series. Vom Bauer also took part in several cinema productions.
