Known as “El Alacran”, Óscar Ludeña was a Peruvian heavyweight boxer who was a South American champion. Ludeña fought at the 1972 München Olympics where he lost to the West German boxer Peter Hussing in the quarter-finals after receiving a bye in the previous round. The following year he boxed in a tournament in South America where he lost to the Argentine boxer Jose Navarro.
