Biography

Lysiane Lauret was a French ice dancing judge and referee who was a member of the French Federation of Ice Sports and the International Skating Union (ISU). Lauret served as a judge at the 1980 Lake Placid Olympics and the 1984 Sarajevo Olympics before working as an ISU assistant referee at the 1992 Albertville Olympics. A year after the Albertville Games the ISU awarded her with the Georg Häsler Medal for her contributions to figure skating. In 2006 Lauret became the first person to be honoured with the ISU Gold Award of Merit.
