Emily LeSueur won a gold medal in group competition at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic synchronized swimming competition. Competing under her maiden name of Emily Porter, she also won a gold medal at the 1991 Pan American Games in group. LeSueur graduated from Arizona State University. She married Ben LeSueur, a dermatologist who practiced in the Phoenix area, and together they raised five children.
