Biography

Bernard Vaillant was first selected for the Belgian national team in 1967, playing alongside his brother, Christian. When Belgium competed at the Olympics in volleyball for the first - and through 2020, only - time at Mexico in 1968, Bernard was also a member of the selection. Vaillant, a player for Bertrix in domestic competition, competed in three of the team’s matches, recording three points and five side-outs.
