Biography

Kim Ruddins played volleyball at Southern Cal, helping them win the 1981 NCAA title, and making All-American three times. Ruddins played for the US at the 1984 and 1988 Olympics, winning a silver medal in 1984. Ruddins also played at the 1979 Pacific Rim Championship, at the Universiade in 1981 and 1983, and won a silver medal at the 1983 Pan American Games and a bronze medal at the 1987 Pan Ams.

Ruddins later studied at the American Institute of Certified Planners and worked as an urban planner. She has worked for the city of Laguna Niguel and also for Ontario, California.
