Biography

Barry Brown played volleyball at Stanford, where he made All-American in 1956, and for the Hollywood YMCA. Brown also won a silver medal at the 1963 Pan American Games. He started out competing on the beach in the 1950s, winning one major beach tournament, with three second place finishes, usually playing for the Hollywood Stars. Brown later went into engineering sales.
