Helmut Schwenn was a German water polo player from SV Wasserfreunde 98 Hannover and was a member of the German silver medal-winning team, behind Hungary, at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. With Hannover he won the German Championship from 1936-38. After World War II he became a sports administrator in the water polo section of the Lower Saxony Swimming Association.
