Biography

Clement Browne played for the United States in water polo at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics. He represented the Chicago Athletic Association. Browne was born in Freetown in Antigua, but came to the United States in April 1919, by way of Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. He was not naturalized as a US citizen until March 1925, but still played for the US in 1920. Browne later worked as a postal worker.
