Biography

Nicolas Horsch was the Belgian middleweight weightlifting champion in 1924. Selected to compete at the Paris 1924 Olympic Games, he finished 19th in the middleweight competition. Following his retirement from competition, he became a national weightlifting official and continued to be active in the sporting affairs of his hometown of Verviers until his death in 1940. Outside of sports, he was a shopkeeper.
