Biography

Roger François had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1928 Olympics Middleweight class (335.0 kg); 1st in the 1922 World Championships Light-Heavyweight class. He set seven world records in the middleweight and light-heavyweight class – two in the press, four in the snatch, and one in the total.
