Biography

Austrian bantamweight freestyle wrestler Josef-Georg Auer participated in the 1987 and 1991 World Championships with a sixth place in 1987 as his best international result. He also wrestled at the 1989 and 1992 Europeans. At the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics Auer was eliminated in the third round.
