Biography

West German wrestler Edmund Seger was eliminated in the third round of the Greco-Roman lightweight class at the 1960 Roma Olympics. He lost his first two fights and collected six bad points. His brother Adolf won two bronze medals in 1972 and 1976. Both were coached by their father Karl, as were their four brothers. Edmund captured the West German national titles in 1955, 1956, and 1959 and earned his living as a professional fireworker.
