Raymond Strasser was an amateur wrestler who competed internationally for Luxembourg after the end of World War II. In 1948 he was selected to compete in the Greco-Roman featherweight event at the London Olympics. His appearance at the Games, however, was brief, with him losing the two bouts he fought in, with both results taking less than two minutes each. In 2008 Strasser was honoured with being made a Knight of the Order of Merit of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
