Robert Diggelmann wrestled for Switzerland at the 1948 London Olympics. Diggelmann became known in Switzerland for his lifelong dedication to fitness, practicing yoga and lifting weights into his 90s, and eating a mostly plant-based diet. In 2003 he appeared on a Lucerne television show and demonstrated his fitness, at age 79, by doing 96 squats with a 50-kilogram dumbbell on his shoulder. Diggelmann worked as a stonemason.
