Biography

Adolf Müller was a Swiss wrestler participating in the 1948 London Olympics. He won the bronze medal in the freestyle featherweight division and was eliminated in the second round of the Greco-Roman event. He was also a Schwinger (a Swiss wrestling sport), and was delegation leader of the Swiss wrestling team for the 1966 World Championships in Toledo, and the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico. Müller also became a wrestling referee involved in the West and East German Olympic trials in 1956 and 1960. By trade, he was a carpenter.
