Biography

While in high school, both Ross Flood and his twin brother won state high school championships in wrestling. But it was Ross Flood who became the greater wrestler, and after enrollng at Oklahoma State, he won the NCAA title three years straight from 19833. In 1935 and 1936 he added the AAU title at 123 lbs. before losing out at the Olympics to the Hungarian Ödön Zombori. Flood later coached for several years and then moved into the livestock business as an owner of a cattle auction.
