Waldemar Björksten was a managing director and CEO in Vyborg (formerly Finnish Viipuri). He was married to Aline Natalia (née Wolff) and had three sons and one daughter. In 1933 he died from a stroke. Björksten was a member of the crew of the Finnish 10 metres yacht “Nina”, which placed second at the 1912 Olympic Games. In a race-off for silver they beat the Russian yacht “Gallia II”.
