Biography

In 1976 Monaco sent a delegation of eight athletes to the Montréal Olympics. Jean-Pierre Borro was one of three sailors to represent the nation at the Games, with the crew competing in the Soling class. In four of the seven races the team finished 23rd out of 24 teams, and it placed 18th twice, and suffered a disqualification in the sixth race, to place 23rd overall. A few months before the Games the same crew competed at the European Soling Championships in Genève, Switzerland.
